Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers Progression Lab (the platform) and its use by gyms ("operators") and their members. Each gym operator is responsible for how their own staff and members use the platform; Progression Lab provides the underlying software and infrastructure.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and login credentials.
- Gym operator information: gym name, branding, and domain settings.
- Member activity: workout logs, machine usage, challenge participation, progress photos, and posts you choose to share.
- Billing information: processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, and basic usage logs, used for security and abuse prevention.
3. How we use information
- To operate and provide the platform to gym operators and their members.
- To process subscription payments through Stripe.
- To send account-related communications (billing, security, service updates).
- To maintain the security and integrity of the platform.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell member or operator data. We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform (such as our hosting provider and Stripe for payments), and with a member's own gym operator, since gym staff need visibility into their own members' activity to run the gym.
Some gyms may optionally offer third-party services (such as a wellness referral partner) to their members. Participation in any such optional service is always the member's own choice, and is separately disclosed at the point of signup for that service.
5. Data retention
We retain account and activity data for as long as an account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and billing purposes. You can request deletion of your account by contacting your gym operator or us directly.
6. Your choices
Members can choose to keep progress photos private and can control what they share to their gym's community feed. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time.
7. Children's privacy
Progression Lab is intended for use by adults and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy can be directed to your gym operator, or to Progression Lab directly.
